Consumer Division
The Consumer Division is headed by the Consumer Engineer. Electricity supplies to consumers are available at 415V, three phase, four wire, 50 Hz and 240V, single phase, two wire,
50Hz. Supplies are provided with an independent earth conductor terminal. The Gibraltar Electricity Authority will
provide, fix and maintain the electricity meters. The voltages are maintained within six percent and the frequency
within one percent. There is insistence on separate earthing (grounding) within the consumer’s installations,
please refer to the General Conditions of Supply of Electricity.
